I’ve always had a soft spot for retro-styled helmets. There’s something about that classic silhouette that just belongs on a cruiser or an old-school naked bike. When I first got my hands on this vintage full-face helmet, I was curious whether it was all looks—or if it could actually deliver on comfort and safety.
After putting in real miles with it, riding in warm weather, light rain, and daily traffic, I’ve got a pretty clear picture of where it shines and where it falls short. Straight away, the helmet feels smaller and more compact than most modern full-face helmets.
In my opinion, that’s a big part of its appeal. It doesn’t give you that oversized “bobblehead” look, and more than once I had other riders ask what helmet I was wearing. Style-wise, it absolutely stands out.

Our Verdict
After testing it properly, I see this helmet as a style-first option that still delivers decent comfort and real protection. It’s not perfect, and it’s definitely not for everyone—but if you ride a cruiser, scooter, or vintage-styled bike and want a helmet that looks the part without spending premium money, this one makes a lot of sense. In my opinion, it’s best suited for city riding, relaxed cruising, and riders who value character just as much as safety.
-
Fantastic retro styling: In my experience, this is one of the best-looking vintage full-face helmets in its price range. It genuinely doesn’t look like everyone else’s helmet.
-
Comfort once broken in: The cheek pads start out tight, but after a few rides they soften nicely. Once broken in, the helmet feels snug and secure without hot spots.
-
Compact and lightweight feel: Compared to many modern helmets, this one feels lighter on the neck and far less bulky, especially noticeable during longer rides.
-
Good airflow for warm weather: The vents move air better than I expected. In hot conditions, it stays surprisingly comfortable—though that comes with a trade-off.
-
Runs small and tight: In my opinion, sizing is the biggest challenge here. If you’re between sizes, you should absolutely size up. Getting it on and off can be uncomfortable at first.
-
Limited peripheral vision: Compared to more modern helmets, the eye port feels narrower. I found myself turning my shoulders more for lane checks.
-
Wind noise at higher speeds: This is not a quiet helmet. Above 35–40 mph, wind noise becomes very noticeable. Earplugs help, but it’s not ideal for highway riding.
-
Interior padding quality is hit-or-miss: Some areas feel premium, others less so. In my experience, it’s acceptable for the price, but not luxurious.
